AMAR Drug Awareness Session at Le Royal Hotel

Drug abuse among children and adolescents is on the rise worldwide and in Lebanon, with new generations being exposed much earlier than before. Discussing this matter is always a sensitive issue that is often avoided by parents and children alike, which means that we remain ignorant about drugs and their effects, until it is often already a problem. A positive conversation with your child can have great influence on the choices he or she makes, including decisions about using drugs.

With the support of the AMAR International Charitable Foundation and Le Royal – Beirut, Dr Joseph El-Khoury will be presenting a one hour interactive workshop with the aim of raising awareness about drugs, their effects and ways to avoid them. This session will be suitable for any child aged 10 and above, and adults. It will be inclusive of a 20 minutes Q&A discussion with the children, giving them the opportunity to interact openly and honestly.
