Dubai’s Police Force Gets a Lamborghini

Seriously now, is anyone surprised by the fact that Dubai’s police force now sports a sport car? Anyone? Yep, didn’t think so.

Reported by Sky News, the 700-hp Lamborghini Aventador was only recently acquired, as a further show off to the rest of the world–in case they forgot–that Dubai is rich. Like really, really rich.

I guess in a country where petrol is cheaper than water, sports cars aren’t all the impressive. It’s not like they’ve got the tallest building in the world or anything. Or tons of billionaires. Or like, a culture built out of oil.
