Zouk Mosbeh Bridge Damage Goes Unfixed

Ever looked at the bottom of a bridge and think “well shit, that doesn’t look safe at all!”

That would be Zouk Mosbeh Bridge, which connects Zouk Mosbeh to the Western Route of the Nahr el-Kaleb highway. According to kateab.org some iron links that were part of the bridge’s supporting structure fell recently, yet there have been no efforts to repair the damage.

Charbel Meraab, Head of the Zouk Mosbeh Municipality, conveyed the deteriorating conditions to the Development and Reconstruction Council who have thus replied that the bridge is not an immediate threat and will be fixed within the next two weeks.
