Beirut Design Week 2013 Poster Competition

From Apr 12 to May 30, 2013
MENA Design Research Center

The MENA Design Research Center is accepting submissions for its poster competition, as part of the Beirut Design Week 2013. The Center is asking graphic designers and creative people of Lebanon to design a poster from the future that envisions Beirut in the year 2090.

This is your chance to explore your vision of Beirut’s future with no constraints, and show the public your creative design and conception skills. You will design a poster that acts as a personal visualization and interpretation of Beirut in the year 2090, while depicting a scene or showing an essential side of the city’s future character.

You may use any media such as illustration, photography, typography, or computer generated graphics as long as it can be sent as a digital file and printed on a poster. A jury of prominent Lebanese graphic designers and other experts will evaluate the 50 finalists.

The deadline for submissions is 30 May 2013 at midnight.

Submissions must be emailed to competition@beirutdesignweek.org with a few lines explaining the concept. In the email, please state clearly your name, age, occupation, phone number and email address.
