Displaying the power of the Lebanese fangirl/boy, twitter‘s top 10 worldwide trends today have two mentions to Lebanon–heading the number one spot with #TheScriptToLebanon and the fifth slot with an unfortunate #LebaneseBeliebersSmileWithJustin.

Causing a social media flurry of tweets and facebook posts, the topmost trend–and really let’s all just forget about the other one–hasn’t of yet garnered a response from the Irish band, though A Separate State of Mind reports that “A trusted source has recently informed me that a local productions agency – I won’t reveal its name, just in case – is in talks to bring Irish band The Script for a summer concert in Lebanon. “

Perhaps this is one twitter trend that might actually come true.
