Alone Play at Monnot Theatre

As part of the Beirut Spring Festival 2013, the Monnot Theatre will be hosting performances of the play “Alone” by Wajdi Mouawad and performed by himself and the “Au Carré de L’Hypoténuse” company.

Synopsis: His name is Harwan. Lebanese, he left his country while it was being bombed to take shelter in Quebec. Today, he’s working on an important thesis with screenwriter Robert Lepage, a revered figure of the Quebec theatrical scene. Alone in his apartment, he remembers his past and tries to draw conclusions. He doesn’t really know where he stands anymore.
