Samar Yazbek Interview at Ashkal Alwan

As part of the Home Works 6, Ashkal Alwan will be holding a filmed interview of Samar Yazbek by Rania Stephan.

Samar Yazbek is a Syrian writer and journalist. She studied Arabic Literature at the University of Damascus. In her work she addresses social and moral taboos prevalent in Syrian society. She has written novels, including “Clay”, “Cinnamon”, “The Mountain of Lilies” and “In her Mirrors”.
