Talk by Mia Vieira Azar at Artheum

As part of the 4th Beirut Art Book Fair, Artheum will be hosting a talk by Mia Vieira Azar called “L’Art Manuellin du Portugal”.

The talk will explore the Manueline art of Portugal, a sumptuous, composite Portuguese style of architectural ornamentation of the first decades of the 16th century, incorporating maritime elements and representations of the discoveries brought from the voyages of Vasco da Gama and Pedro Álvares Cabral.
