The Children of April Screening at Metropolis Cinema

As part of the Les Ecrans Du Reel festival, Metropolis Cinema is hosting a screening of the documentary “The Children of April” by Dzovig Torikian.

Synopsis: 1915. A date that many would avoid. First genocide of the century. 1.5 million dead. And a few survivors who are full of life testifying to our young ears, a date not to forget, a walk to remember and a cause to fight for.

It’s about tolerance and suffering of the Armenian people. How much can they endure and how much a human being can treat his own mankind in front of the whole world. It’s about all those who forgot, those who are forgotten, those who died and about all those who survived.
