You know you're still a third world country when a giant chunk of the population doesn't have an actual address. Which means that a few months after the bid will be conducted Lebanese Homes and Offices will all have proper Addresses.
But fear not! Our very own Lebanese Minister of Telecommunications, the infamous Nicolas Sehnaoui is promising to remedy that problem.
Ever a proponent of social media, a few days ago Sehnaoui tweeted about a bid that was authorized by the Council Of Ministers before the Council's resignation regarding addresses in Lebanon.
Now Lebanese politicians are notorious for opting out of delivery, or postponing for years on end. So I wouldn't get too excited about Sehnaoui's statement. It might take years to execute. But then again, is it too much to hope for a proper delivery address?
