Segundo Bloco Encore at Radio Beirut

Because the boys and the girls never fail to impress in each and every performance, Radio Beirut is bringing Segundo Bloco once again. Segundo Bloco is a group of percussionists (also known as a Bateria) and dancers that play Batucada, traditional samba music played at Brazil’s parades and carnivals.

The group was created by the students of ‘Filhos de Bimba Escola de Capoeira, Lebanon’ in October 2011. They have since played across the country at weddings and venues like DRM and Metro Theater, performing lively shows full of energy and interactivity with audience members.
