Relive the 1920s: Gatsby Town Social and Kitchen

In entertainment news this week, The Great Gatsby is all the rage–and deservedly so, it’s friggin awesome.

Featuring iconic flappers, chain smokers, jive dancing and other symbols of the 1920’s, Fitzgerald’s classic book seems to have spun off something other than a brilliant movie.

Set to open mid-June in Uruguay street, Gatsby “Town Social and Kitchen”, emulates all the best things you loved about the movie and the book–brought all the way to Beirut. With signature cocktails and dishes, that famous Chicago-styled blues and all that jazz, Gatsby pub looks like it’ll soon be a crowd favorite.

So dress the part and don’t forget your flapper dress, because you’ll soon be swinging the night away on the dance floor at this speakeasy, or chowing down on some good old fashioned American cuisine. Whatever your motive, Gatsby brings with it a nice change of pace from the roaring RnB and Pop night clubs of Uruguay Street.

So why not class it up and give Gatsby a shot? Literally.
