The Polypod Creative Series at Beirut Design Week 2013

The Polypod Creative Series invites local and global luminaries to bring people together to discuss ideas and the creative process. The events take place within its informal studio space, which encourages more personal interaction with the speakers.

This edition of Polypod, hosted specially for the Beirut Design Week 2013, will feature Pascal Hachem. His enigmatic work goes beyond conceptual art toward real action that is a living commentary on surviving in a tumultuous environment.

Pascal’s minimalist works expose the absurdity of urban existence and accepting the banality of the present moment. His work has been featured in several solo and group exhibitions in Europe and the region, and he has won several awards including the Bang and Olufsen Award in 2001.
