Peaceful History, Bread and Wine Exhibition at Hamazkayin Lucy Tutunjin Gallery

The Hamazkayin Lucy Tutunjin Gallery is hosting a solo exhibition by Moushegh Mkhitaryan called “Peaceful History, Bread and Wine”. Born in 1959 in Yerevan, Armenia, Mushegh Mkhitaryan studied at the Children’s Academy in Yerevan (1972–76) and then graduated from the P. Terlemezyan Yerevan State College of Fine Arts in 1980.

From 1981 to 1983, he attended the Department of Ceramics at the Technical College of Fine Arts. Since 1983, he has held around 16 personal exhibitions in various cities in Armenia, Russia, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Since the late 1980s, he has also participated in some group exhibitions held in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabagh), France, Germany, Italy, and the United States.

Since 1989, some of his artworks have been permanently exhibited in the Armenian Museum of Modern Art. Mkhitaryan is a member of the Artists’ Union of Armenia and of the UNESCO’s International Federation of Artists.
