Behind The Scenes – A Playback Theater Performance at Babel Theater

Monday, Jul 1, 2013
7:00pm -> 9:00pm
Babel Theater

Live Lactic Culture – Laban will launch their Playback Theatre program at the Babel Theater. The performance will be inspired by stories of success and failure from your jobs.

It will be targeted at NGO workers in Lebanon in hopes to give a self-care breather to dedicated and passionate NGO employees who forget to take care of themselves in the heat of their selfless endeavors. However, everyone is welcome. If you work any kind of job, you’ll probably relate to and have stories to share.

After receiving training from Armand Volkas and Ben Rivers, members of Live Lactic Culture – Laban have been preparing their Playback Theatre program for a while now and finally, it’s here.

Playback Theatre is known to have a therapeutic effect on its audience or group members. The audience members first tell their stories out loud to be witnessed by the rest of the group and then they witness their own stories enacted by the professional actors and accompanied by music and for the audience to watch a different perspective of the story.
