Why Wasn’t Lebanon on US Embassy Terror Threat List on Sunday?

A total of 21 US embassies and consulates closed on Sunday following concerns of a heightened terror threat issued by the State Department.

Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan and Egypt are among the Middle Eastern and North African countries on the list. But remarkably, the one country in the middle of it all that wasn’t included was Lebanon.

Wow, there’s so many things to celebrate this week: Beirut made it to yet another top 10 amazing rooftops list, Ramadan is about to wind down with Eid El Fitr festivities, and for once – Lebanon isn’t being included among the countries which pose a serious terror threat to the US.
