The Balaa Sinkhole is a natural waterfall near Tannourine.
It was discovered in 1952 by French bio-speleologist Henri Coiffait. It’s also been nicknamed the “Three Bridges Chasm” because when looking at the sinkhole from below, you can see three natural bridges, one rising above the other as you look up toward Mount Lebanon.
