Souk aal Souk at Zico House

Souk aal Souk is a weekly farmers’ market where local and organic products are sold every Wednesday at Zico House, as a result of The Environment and Sustainable Development Unit (ESDU) at the American University of Beirut (AUB) being selected among five NGOs to benefit from a grant by Waterfront City Cares to implement its project on establishing a weekly farmers’ market.

This market aims to promote the organic and healthy produce of local farmers and small producers from different Lebanese areas, as well as establishing bonds between urban residents and rural producers by offering city-dwellers access to healthy traditional food and direct contact with the producers themselves.
