Are you stuck in a routine? Struggling with your tango or/and just want to improve your dancing? Join The Academy for a workshop to develop your understanding of the Tango concept with Mazen Kiwan and Yamila Ivonne. Learn how to dance between and beyond the steps.
The aim of this workshop is to teach all levels the structure of tango, connection, intensity/softness and the balance during the movement, framed by the music. Sequences will be used as materials and tools in order to learn to dance in harmony, and to understand the role, and the responsibility of each partner.
The workshop is divided into three levels: beginner, happening at 4:00 p.m., intermediate, happening at 6:00 p.m., and advanced, happening at 8:00 p.m.
Participation fee: $30 for one session, $50 for two sessions, and $90 for three sessions
