Join Station Beirut as it hosts a screening of the documentary “Keith Haring: The Message” by Maripol.
Synopsis: Written and directed by Maripol, this insightful documentary sheds light on some of the internal conflicts that led Keith Haring to explore a creative outlet for his social engagement and political positions. The documentary features interviews with friends, fellow artists and other key figures from the Downtown NY art scene of the 1980s.
The documentary ran on ARTE Creative this spring, parallel to one of the most important retrospectives of Keith Haring’s work at the Musée d’Art Moderne in Paris.
