Five Reasons You Should See the New Film, Runner Runner
Runner Runner is the new crime-thriller flick coming to Beirut theaters September 26. In it, an Ivy League whiz kid played by Justin Timberlake discovers the scam behind an offshore gambling site, and loses all his tuition money in the process. Bent on getting it back, he’s lured into a web of wealth, women and murder by a poker kingpin played by Ben Affleck. Check out the trailer below. It’s kind of cray cray.
After watching this movie, your world will never be the same. Ok, that’s probably a small exaggeration. But here’s five reasons you should seriously consider seeing this film:
1. Justin Timberlake
Can we just all agree that Justin Timberlake is a god among mere mortals? I mean, really, this man can do no wrong. He’s an incredible singer, a fine actor and he has amazing hair. What more could a girl ask for? #JT4LIFE.
2. Ben Affleck
Sure he’s made some really shitty movies (here’s looking at you Gigli), but Ben Affleck always finds his way back into some amazing roles. Also, he’s married to Jennifer Garner, so he can’t be all that bad. Argo won for best picture at the Oscars this year, and he’s slated to play Batman in the 2015 Man of Steel sequel. Clearly, he’s on a roll.
