‘Not Who We Are’ Screening at Metropolis

Join the Metropolis Empire Sofil cinema as it hosts a special screening of “Not Who We Are,” the latest documentary by director Carol Mansour. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion and a Q&A session.

Synopsis:
The audience is led through the refugee experience of five admirable and courageous women (Afra’a, Umm Omar, Umm Raed, Samar, and Siham).

They open up and share with viewers their experiences of displacement and loss and, in the process, their strength and resilience in the face of daily struggles to survive in an often harsh and unfriendly environment.
