‘The Parade’ Screening at the 2013 Beirut International Film Festival

Join the 13th edition of the Beirut International Film Festival as it hosts the screening of “The Parade,” directed by Srdjan Dragojevic.

Synopsis:
A homophobic, middle-aged, Serbian gangster ends up sacrificing himself to protect gay freedom in his country. Radmilo and Mirko are a young and successful gay couple, and they believe they would be a happy couple anywhere else except Serbia. They try to live discreetly but are still abused every day by the homophobic majority. Plus, Mirko is a gay rights activist, and his dream is to organize the first successful PRIDE event in Belgrade.
