Vladimir Kurumilian was born in Beirut in August 1988.

He started taking piano lessons at the age of five in the Lebanese National Conservatory.

An interior architect, Vladimir completed his masters at ALBA where he participated in the Baalbek Festival through the “Hommage à Maurice Bejart” project back in 2008. He was a member of the jury in 2009.

His first appearance was in the performance ‘quand le rythme devient obsessionnel’, which was held in Théâtre Monnot on April 2009. Short after, Vladimir met with Serge Yared (of The Incompetents) at Walimat Wardeh and collaborated with him for several concerts.

In September 2009, he participated in the Crate Sessions at Walimat. He later collaborated with Lazzy Lung’s Allan Chaaraoui at Art Lounge in the concert "Ménage à 3" in May 2010, and soon after in La Fête de la Musique in June 2010.

He composed the theme music for Jocelyne Saab’s surrealist film ‘What’s going on?' which led to several projects, including an electro-acoustic performance with Liliane Chlela (from Hezbel Taleta) during the Hamra Streets Festival in September 2010, and the project ‘tha-gha-ra’ along with Karim Khneisser (percussionist) and Assil Ayyash (vocalist) at ‘Festivals Touristiques de Beyrouth’ in July 2011.

In 2010, he contributed on the piano with the pop/folk Lebanese band ‘Adonis’.
