Registration for the Samir & Claude Abillama Eco-Entrepreneurship Award at AUB

The Samir and Claude Abillama Eco-entrepreneurship Award is a $20,000 sum awarded to an individual or team for their winning Eco-entrepreneurship idea (product, process, service or system).

Applicants may work alone, or with a team of two to five people. Projects must comply with eco-entrepreneurship indicators and have a local impact on Lebanon. The selection process includes three rounds, after which the award winner will be announced during the annual Eco-entrepreneurship Conference on June 9, 2014.

The award promotes the green entrepreneurial model. It aims to create job opportunities in Lebanon by supporting young entrepreneurs.

Important Dates:

Sep 1, 2013 – Call for participation open
Dec 30, 2013 – Call for participation closed
Jan 1-15, 2014 – Interviews for first round selection
Jan 26, 2014 – Full Proposal submission open
Mar 30, 2014 – Full Proposal submission closed
Jun 9, 2014 – Eco-entrepreneurship Conference

All the teams selected to present a Full Proposal will also be asked to give a presentation of their project during the Eco-entrepreneurship Conference, before the Award winner is announced.
