Beirut Street Festival 2013

Whether you encounter some of these urban interventions by accident or intend to follow the schedule, the Beirut Street Festival hopes that you enjoy their mix of vibrant theater and art performances happening throughout Lebanon’s capital. It’s a forceful reminder that public space is the antipode of private space, and must be free from discriminate categorization and gentrification.

The organizers of the Beirut Street Festival hope to generate a real dialogue between the public and artists, as well as between cultures. Professional European, Arab and Lebanese streets companies will participate in the festival, creating a cosmopolitan, creative and artistic atmosphere in the city.
