Wooden Brooches Workshop by Niloufar Afnan

This workshop will introduce participants to the basics of making wooden brooches by Niloufar Afnan.

You will be creating brooches out of wooden cut triangles and guided through stages of design and execution. Techniques will include sanding to prep the wood, hard-edge painting, and assembling all elements together to create a single entity.

Born in Beirut, raised in Montreal Niloufar Afnan’s jewelry practice commenced in London. While pursuing her Masters at Central Saint Martins, she produced commissioned work for Escape M 6:05 Depeche Mode and Orient 499.
