Join Dale Corazon for a hiking adventure in Mokhtara in the Chouf. The most famous sites of Chouf are Beit El Dine Castle, Moussa Castle, Jumblat Castle.

Hiking Level Key: 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous

Level 3 (4 km)
This hiking level will walk a loop trail in Mokhtara and will start from Our Lady Church. The scenery is really beyond description. You will have enough time for meditation, photos and fun. You will have lunch at the bridge and then you will go to visit Jumblat Castle and maybe meet Mr. Walid Jumblat.

Level 6 (11 km)
This level is a bit tough. The view you get to see from the valley is beyond imagination. You will start with level 3 and split at some point to take a trail that leads to Amatour. You will pass by many mills and cross many bridges; the last one is a wooden mill beside a natural ‘pool’. You will have lunch somewhere beside the river, rest a bit and then continue to Bater. This part of the trail is uphill and requires good physical strength.
