Wadi El Salib is an old, deserted town. Many houses, mills and churches there have been abandoned since the end of World War I.
The hike to this town will be one level. It will be quite easy, a level 4 hike.
You will start from Kfardebiane and start descending the valley along a track that offers wonderful views. You will have enough time to take pictures and enjoy the area. You will also pass by a river, which at this time of year is flowing steadily. The lunch break will be close to the river.
Once you’re done with the valley, a farmer’s road will lead you to Daraya, where the bus will be waiting.
Meeting place: 7:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Sagesse School in Jdeideh, facing the public garden.
