Liane Al-Ghusain

Liane Al-Ghusain is a writer and art worker. She attended Stanford University for her BA and MA in English literature and creative writing and has done postgraduate work in art, technology, and performance at Ashkal Alwan, Beirut (2012-13). Liane interned at the Wikimedia Foundation in 2010 and served as the director of Contemporary Art Platform, Kuwait during its inaugural year (2011-12). She has since spent time working on creative writing and art journalism , most recently publishing Abdul Rahman, a multimedia short story publication with the support of Ashkal Alwan’s Home Workspace Program. Currently based in Beirut, her next project is working on the Kuwait architecture pavilion at the Venice Biennial 2014.
