Toofless and Wriggly Scott at Radio Beirut

Toofless is a UAE-based MC of Sudanese origin. His hip-hop expression materialized at the age of 17 after being inspired by acts such as Mos Def, Nas, Talib Kweli. His sound has been described as “abstract”, “expressive”, “conscious”, “experimental” and “real” as to what he projects from his own experiences. Wriggly Scott (previously known as DJ Solo) is an eclectic DJ that stitches together hip hop, boogie, funk, electro, lath, afrobeat and more. Scott cut his teeth in the UK pirate radio scene before moving to Dubai in 2004. There he played an integral role in the development of the local music scene founding and co-founding the nights Elefant Sounds, On The Corner, Freshly Laced and DUST.

In collaboration with the Beirut Groove Collective, Toofless will perform in Beirut alongside Wriggly Scott. Expect a fast-paced live show that not only showcases his new EP ‘Neospective Glitch,’ but encompasses many of his previous releases and classic hip-hop cuts
