“Ta3a Ne7ke” debate by Nature Conservation Center

The Nature Conservation Center at AUB is organizing the second Ta3a Ne7ke debate of the academic year, entitled: “Social Media and the Environment.”

Ta3a Ne7ke is a series of debates whose topics range across disciplines, but is directly or indirectly related to the environmental issues of nature conservation, and sustainability. Be it arts, humanities, biology, medicine, natural sciences, business, engineering, architecture, landscape, or agriculture, fashion and nutrition, the approach is meant to be interdisciplinary, diverse, and public-engaging.

The debate will take place at AUB West Hall, Auditorium B.

This session aims to discuss and debate the effect of media and social media on encouraging and influencing people to participate or take the initiative to do green activities such are tree planting, seed collection, hiking, and river cleaning.
