Kameh Duet is a band of two talented musicians. The band experiments with established genres such as blues, jazz and funk by adopting/incorporating Arabic concepts and styles. This process relies on original lyrics that are drawn from colloquial Lebanese/Lebanese slang and day-to-day experiences, and rearranging different genres to blend with Arabic music while being politically conscious of growing changes in the Arab world.
Although most of the instruments used by the band are western ones, the band treats and experiments with them to create an Arabic style. The new aesthetics demand the band to experiment with instruments, music genres, lyrics, singing and performance.
