3:00pm -> 5:00pm
Houna Holistic Center

Join this unique sensory-based movement practice combining martial arts, dance arts and healing arts.

This 2-hour experimental workshop is designed for those who are new to Nia. The first hour is a no-music practice. You will explore some of the 52 moves of Nia, designed to experience the five sensations (flexibility, agility, mobility, strength). The second hour is about music and the joy of movement. You dance a full Nia class using the body’s way with pleasure.

Open to everybody regardless of fitness and age level, as long as you can move, you can dance. Please wear clothing that allows you to move freely; you will be moving in in your bare feet.
