Wooden Brooches Workshop at Waraq

Attend the Wooden Brooches Workshop at Waraq with Niloufar Afnan.

During the course of this two-day workshop, you will be making brooches out of wooden cut triangles. The first stage of the workshop is to design the layout and graphics of the brooch. You will then proceed with the making of the brooch that will cover most of the two day affair. These are the following steps that we will encounter for the brooch series: sanding to prep the wood, hard edge painting, and the final stage is assembling all the elements together to create a single entity. The materials provided for this workshop are the following: markers, wood, rods, paint, brushed, tape, foam, brooches, beading embellishment, gold leaf silver and gold chain.
