Five people are dead and 30 injured in a blast that ripped through the northeastern town of Hermel on Thursday morning.
This is the third bomb in as many weeks in Lebanon. A bomb went off on December 27 in downtown Beirut killing eight people, including former Finance Minister Mohammad Chatah. On January 2, a bomb went off in Beirut’s southern suburb of Haret Hreik, killing four people.
