Victim of Dahiyeh Blast Had Reportedly Escaped Three Other Bombings

An image went viral on Facebook Tuesday showing a recent message from one of the victims reportedly killed in the Dahiyeh car bombing, according to Al-Manar TV.

The image, a screenshot of a Facebook post made by Maria Jawhari, who goes by the moniker Mima Maria on Facebook, reads: “This is the third explosion I’ve survived; I don’t know if I can make it after a fourth [one].”

She wrote that post on January 2, the date of the previous Dahiyeh car bombing, which killed five people and injured 70. Tuesday’s explosion reportedly happened just yards away from the bomb that went off earlier this month.

The Al-Nusra Front claimed responsibility for Tuesday’s bombing on Twitter. The group also claimed responsibility for the January 16 bombing in Hermel which killed five people and wounded 42 others.
