The Metropolis Association and the Italian Cultural Institute in Lebanon in partnership with the Venice Biennale are proud to present for the first time in Lebanon: Venezia Cinema.
This event that will be held at Metropolis Empire Sofil between February 20 and 25, and will become a yearly event presenting a broad selection of recent and classic films that were screened during the 70th edition of the Venice Biennale.
Special guest:
Mr. Luigi Cuciniello, director of Venezia Cinema Biennale, who will present the opening film A Lonely Heart (L’Intrepido) by Gianni Amelio and the actress Elena Cotta who won the Volpi Cup for best actress in A Street in Palermo (Via Castellana Bandiera) which will be featured in the program. The Lebanese public and the press will also be able to meet with them.
