Discover the splendid wild nature of Jannet Chouwen valley and river in Ftouh Keserwan, 40 km away from Beirut.
Jannet Chouwen is one of the most picturesque places in Jbeil Caza, especially during this time of year when the river is still at full and the flora is at its best. The stream that runs down from the mountain flows into Nahr-lbrahim, known as the river of the god Adonis, (river of immortal love).
In Jannet Chouwen you will experience the pleasure of hiking through the majestic nature, mixed forests with oak, pine and many other plant species, until we reach its marvelous lake known as Jannet Chouwen. There, one may relax by the lake under the shade of the trees and enjoy a picnic lunch with the tranquil sound of the water. For courageous people, bring your swimsuit with you and sandals.
The hike is about three hours (both ways).

Schedule:
– 9:00 a.m: Departure from Futuroscope (we will only wait for 10mn for late arrivals)
– 9:30 a.m. until 9:55 a.m: 25mn Pit-stop in a bakery for coffee and water supply
– 11:00 a.m: Arrival to Jannet Chouwen to proceed on the hike.
– 12:30 p.m.: Arrival to the lake for a picnic lunch and a swim, or you can relax under the trees
– 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m: Proceed by hiking to return to Bus.
Meeting point:
Sin El Fil Futuroscope Facing Hilton (Le Mall), going towards Furn El Chebbak, next to the parking lot for Home Furniture at 9:00 a.m.
