A charming and comfortable accommodation in one of Beirut’s liveliest districts.
In Mar Mikhael, three dreamers set up the home they would have loved to grow up in as kids, on the first floor of a traditional Lebanese building: BEYt.
The co-owners say of BEYt: “When we chanced upon this space, with its high ceilings, typical arcades, beautiful tiled floors as well as its own private garden, we knew we couldn’t let it go. There was no way we’d allow it to be transformed into yet another fancy restaurant!
We tried to remain true to the house’s original spirit and used vintage furniture, designer antiques and handcrafted textiles and linens. Recently restored, BEYt also offers all the amenities of a modern guest house (renovated bathrooms, fully-equipped Kitchen, High-speed Internet etc…) insuring a comfortable stay.
In our daily activities, each one of us has always strived to show friends and visitors another side of the city. However, we had trouble recommending proper yet affordable accommodation.”
