Ali Webhi Runs for Lebanese Autism Society

The Lebanese desert runner, Ali Wehbi is planning to run Lebanon for 12 days in 12 marathons and with 12 schools in order to promote the benefits of sports and endurance among the young generation’s and to raise funds for the Lebanese Austism Society (LAS). At the end of each marathon, he will be giving an afternoon presentation in a school, talking about the advantages of sports to the welfare of our community and to the future of the young generation.

Ali will cross around 550 km (with 12000 Ascending/ descending) and will stop at 11 pit stops. He will be accompanied by students from 12 different schools. At each pit spot, he will give a presentations in local schools promoting sports.

Ali is the first Arab ever to enter the very private club of the ‘4 Deserts’. ‘4 Deserts’ members have completed 1000 kilometers in the hottest, coldest, windiest and driest deserts in the world.
