Hike in Hawka with Lebanese Adventures

Discover the Holy Valley of Kadicha. Kadisha means “Holy” in Aramic, and the valley, sometimes called the Holy Valley, has sheltered Christian monastic communities for many centuries. The Kadisha Holy Valley harbors the most ancient Christian monasteries of the Middle East : The Qannubin Monastery used to be the seat of the Maronite Patriarch, The Monastery of Mar Lishaa and The Monastery of St Anthony of Qozhaya.

What to bring:
Hiking shoes, back pack,water,light meal (sandwich, dried fruits,..),sunglasses, sun screen, cap.

Feasibility:
A minimum of 15 persons is required.
In case of a bad weather, we usually don’t cancel the journey unless there is a thunderstorm.

Meeting:
7:30am at the parking next to the Emergency Entrance of the Sacré Cœur hospital Hazmieh.

Cost:
$30 covering guides, transportation, and insurance. (Kindly bring the exact change).
