Lazzy Lung Unplugged feat. Mother Mantra

Radio Beirut presents a special acoustic performance from Lazzy Lung frontman, Allan Chaaraoui, with an opening set from Mother Mantra.

One of the most talked about (and hardworking) bands in the country, Lazzy Lung have led the wave of new rock n’ roll talent emerging from the region. From the release of their debut album Strange Places back in 2010, the independent rock band, Lazzy Lung have never looked back, picking up all sorts of industry recognition along the way, from “Best Band” honors at Rolling Stone Middle East’s “Battle of the Band” contest in Dubai in 2011; “Musician of the Year 2011″ by Esquire M.E.; and landed a recording session at Capitol Records (Los Angeles) in Studio A with legendary engineer Charlie Paakkari. The band’s latest tour was across the Middle East alongside The Black Lips 2012.

Their second album release, “Sailor’s Delight,” was recorded in a dingy basement studio in May 2013 – ultimately mastered by Grammy-award winning engineer Emily Lazar (The Foo Fighters, the Shins, Vampire Weekend) at The Lodge Studio in NYC.
