This town on the coast of Lebanon used to be a shipyard for the construction of Phoenician vessels, and was famous for its salt-pans – some of which are still being used today. Also in this town, you will visit a prehistoric cave, a byzantine church, the site where a great crusaders’ castle once stood and we will have lunch right next to the sea, because what’s a summer day without a bit of salt water?
