Our annual boat ride to Palm Island (Jazeeret el Araneb) is near! Now is the best time to go there. It will be calm and relaxing. The people in charge of the reserve close it down nine months a year in order to maintain the balance of natural life.
Palm Island is a protected area by Unesco. It is also a culture heritage site. It is a must-see. Enjoy the sandy shore and the great views the island has to offer. Before going to the island, the tour will visit Mina and Borj el Sbaa. Then participants will take the boat to the island and spend a relaxing day at the beach.
You can bring your lunch or have a delicious lunch delivered to you (barbecued fish, potatoes and salad).

Meeting Location: The parking lot of Sagesse School in Jdeideh, facing the public garden.
Cost
$40 per person including transportation, guides, insurance. (Please get the exact change to facilitate and speed up the registration process).
What to bring
Snacks and lunch, water, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Don’t forget a jacket because it gets cold in the shade. Wear hiking shoes or comfortable walking shoes.
