Shadows of Alleys

In celebration of the 2014 International Youth Day, the ABAAD Center for Gender Equality in partnership with UNRWA cordially invite you to a photography exhibition and booklet launching titled: ‘Shadows of Alleys’.

The three booklets are a collection of 180 photos captured by young Palestinian girls and boys in Burj Chemali Camp, South Lebanon. Using the ‘Pinhole Camera’ technique, these girls and boys captured some of the more difficult sides of the lives of Palestine youth through aspects of discrimination, violence and gender-based violence affecting their communities.

The exhibition will run all day long. Valet parkinhg will be available.
