Mishkal Festival 2014

The Al Madina Theatre Association for Arts and Culture proudly presents the Mishkal festival of 2014 with Arab artists, musicians, poets as well as a large number of Lebanese residents, including many Palestinians, to share the platform and express unyielding support for the resilience of the people of Gaza in the midst of the current humanitarian crisis and ongoing deficiency in aid.

Through its workshops, plays and film screenings, the aim is to develop a culture where Palestinian art is recognized and enjoyed by the widest possible audience. Ultimately, its work seeks to bolster pride and knowledge in Palestinian culture among younger generations and to promote a greater understanding and awareness of Palestine and its distinct social fabric.

With the full pledged participation of Palestinians, Al Madina Theatre hopes that the Mishkal festival will both induce and incite your presence, active participation, and committed support for the people of Gaza and their strife.
