Malaffat feat Dijit and Talibab at Radio Beirut

One of the most exciting new projects to come out of the contemporary Egyptian underground music scene, electronic producer Dijit and spoken-word artist, poet, MC Talibab come together as Malaffat to tour with their debut album “For Living.”

Hashem L Kelesh is a music producer known as Dijit. His performances are not about making delightful music or even making sense, but, rather, providing people with noise that reflects the community we live in.

Talibab
Growing up in the UAE, before moving back to Egypt, Talibab is something of a lyrical master. As a spoken word artist and MC, his reflections on the changing social developments of Egypt cut deep. Reflecting on the political and social turmoil of the country and the realities of day-to-day life in Cairo, Talibab’s poetry is ever more relevant for an explosive period of change.
