101 Poetry Nights: Spoken Word Poetry at AltCity
While Beirut hustles and bustles away, our Lebanese poets of different ages and backgrounds will come to perform their own spoken word poems (in Arabic and English) in our second monthly spoken word event — in hopes of adding some fine tunes to the city’s beautiful noises!
AltCity gives a chance for poetry to mold itself and come to life, just this once. There will be prepared spoken word poets in the first session, and open mic for who ever would like to share some of his/her words.
