Conference with Paul Rondin During ‘Theater as Politics Beyond Discourse’: A Zoukak Sidewalks Forum

Paul Rondin, the deputy director of the Avignon, Festival will visit Zoukak within Zoukak Sidewalks Forum and hold a conference around political thought in theater today. Rondin will also discuss the trappings of intercultural theater programming and the place of Arab theater within the Avignon Festival.

This event is part of the “Theatre as Politics Beyond Discourse” series, a one-week forum engaging theater artists to reflect on pressing social and political issues. The forum aims to develop critical thinking around theater practice and its vital role in seizing and expressing political momentum without falling into the traps of political opportunism.
